Booked By OrderCounter sends text messages for the businesses that use it. When you give your mobile number and agree to get texts, you get booking texts from that business through Booked. Booking texts include confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, sign-in codes, and other service messages.
A business can also send marketing texts, such as offers and news. A business sends marketing texts only to clients who agree to get them.
By opting in, you provide express consent to receive automated SMS messages, confirm you are the authorized user of the number, and understand consent is not a condition of purchase. Consent may be provided via online booking checkbox, intake form, or verbal agreement.
Marketing texts need a separate consent. You give it when you tick the marketing texts box, for example at checkout or in your profile. The box shows with no tick.
Message frequency varies. Booking texts are typically 1 confirmation and 1 or 2 reminders for each scheduled visit. The number of marketing texts depends on the business.
Message and data rates may apply according to your carrier plan. Booked By OrderCounter is not responsible for carrier charges.
Reply STOP to any text to opt out at any time. You will receive confirmation and no further messages unless you opt in again. Reply HELP for assistance or contact (850) 332-5540 or support@ordercounter.com.
To stop only marketing texts, turn off Marketing texts in your profile. You still get booking texts.
We do not sell or share your mobile number with third parties for their marketing. We do not share text opt-in data or consent with any third party, except the service providers that deliver the messages. We use this information only to send the texts that you agree to get. Delivery depends on mobile carrier transmission. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
